Excerpt from The Pyramid, 1928

We, the members of the Staff of 1928, sub mit to the students, and friends of the school, this volume of the pyramid with a three-fold purpose. First, we hope that it will prove a memory book, rather than a mere record of statistics. We also hope that it may, in future years, re¿ect in some small way the spirit of panzer normal. Thirdly, we have tried to make the book a record of the happy days, the good times, and pleasures, as well as the deeper purposes which underlie our school life, but, above all, we hope that this pyramid will in later days serve as a reminder of faces, names, and friendships of our days at panzer normal.
