Giovanni di Piero Antinori legte 1385 den Grundstein. Heute wird das Haus in der 26. Generation von Marchesi Piero Antinori geleitet, maßgeblich unterstützt von seinen drei Töchtern Albiera, Allegra und Alessia. Die Antinori-Weine „Solaia“ und „Tignanello“ wurden zu Ikonen der italienischen Weinkultur und haben Antinori an die Spitze der Weinwelt geführt.
