Uwe Cantner, geb. 1960, ist seit 2000 Inhaber des Lehrstuhls VWL, insbesondere Mikroökonomik, an der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Adolf Wagner, habilitiert für Volkswirtschaftslehre und Statistik an der Universität Tübingen, hatte Ordinariate an den Universitäten Marburg, Tübingen und Leipzig für Wirtschaftstheorie, Statistik bzw. Empirische Wirtschaftsforschung inne. Er leitete an den drei Standorten namhafte kleine Institute der Wirtschafts- und Sozialforschung.
