Refractive errors of the eye like myopia (shortsightness)when the parallel rays of light coming from infinity are focused in front of the retina when accommodation is at rest, hyperopia (longsightness)when the parallel rays of light coming from infinity are focused behind the retina when accommodation is at rest, and astigmatism when there is a focal line instead of focus point are a risk factors for all entire world in the past and nowadays. In this project a one hundred of patients in different ages were examined and the refractive errors amount and types were determined then the optical correction were down by spectacles.

Dr. Fadia W. Al-Azawi have PHD degree in remote sensing and image processing in 2013, Msc. in 2007 in laser medical applications and Bsc. in physics in 2003. since then i had worked in different projects in the fields of remote sensing, image processing, laser, optics, optometry, and general physics.
