About the author

Diana Webster was born in Australia of British parents, but grew up in England and studied English Language and Literature at Oxford.  Until 1993 she was a Lecturer in English Language and Literature in Helsinki University, Finland.  She has written over 80 books teaching English as a Foreign language worldwide, mostly for young children, and has won the Duke of Edinburgh Award for an English textbook as well as receiving an M.B.E. from the Queen for “services to English”.  She has also worked extensively for radio and TV, both as a writer and presenter.  Her radio plays have been broadcast in several countries and have won several awards.  She has also worked for the BBC on books, radio and videos teaching English, most recently on the TV series MUZZY.  She is a widow with two children.

 

English Together was written TOGETHER with Anne Worrall, a very experienced writer of courses for young children who lives in England.

Summary
