An Emeritus Professor of Anthropology, University of California at Berkeley, he is author of twenty books and 180 articles documenting his over 50 years of cross cultural research in the North and South America, Asia and Europe. Dr. Eric Steven De Vos received his doctorate from the Committee on Human Development at The University of Chicago.
