C'est beau

Un père et une mère se déchirent sous l'œil ironique de leur enfant, dont la seule présence les empêche d'admirer librement l'œuvre qu'ils contemplent : impossible de dire «c'est beau» face au regard hostile du fils, qui paralyse ses parents. Effet de mai 68, bandes dessinées contre musées ? Refus de l'autorité ? La culpabilité parentale prend ici des proportions énormes. La pièce met ainsi en scène une perpétuelle quête de l'auteur : l'objet, l'enfant, le conjoint, quête qui n'aboutit jamais. On est puni à vouloir trouver ce que cachent les mots les plus simples. Cette œuvre comique se moque donc du jugement esthétique émis par trois personnages. Mais la farce sur le langage cache le drame de l'incommunicable, du dialogue comme lutte, du langage comme trahison.
