siècle», écrit Walter Benjamin à Gershom Scholem. Dans cette lecture très novatrice, qui se situe aussi bien à l'écart de la critique littéraire que d'une analyse sociologique, il ne s'agit pas de décrypter dans les thèmes baudelairiens les bouleversements économiques et sociaux mais, par un effet de miroir, d'éclairer les uns par les autres.
