    Der Inhalt dieser Geschichte widerspiegelt Leben und Tod. Mit dem Daiffel hat das gar nichts zu tun. Es sind wahre Gegebenheiten die einem frisch Verstorbenen wiederfahren können bevor die Seele seine Ruhe findet.
    Vielleicht sogar bigott ein wenig spöttisch gesagt: Ungetaufte Kinder enden im Nimbus!?

    Irgendwie zu simpel dieses dramatische Werk als Gruselfilm zu bezeichnen. Ohne Zweifel beeinhaltet er Übernatürliches und gruseliges, doch in erster Linie ist es ein tiefgründiges Drama, indem Torro gekonnt Asoziationen zwischen Faschismus und der Haupthandlung zieht. Er ist nicht dermassen genial wie El Labyrinto del fauna, aber durchaus ein ausgezeichnetes Werk. Er wird auch oft als Bruderfilm von Fauna bezeichnet, da er extrem viele Paralellen aufweist. Ich würde also jedem empfehlen beide Werke zu schauen, sie sind es definitiv wert!

    Mehr als nur ein guter Gruselfilm, sondern geschichtlich auch interessant. Una pelucola
