Plastic is everywhere-in the sea, in the air, in the ground. And, as recent studies show, it is also inside us. When you open the refrigerator, you usually see it right away: plastic wrap, cups, cans, bottles. What seems practical at first glance turns out, on closer inspection, to be a silent source of microplastics and nanoplastics that find their way into our food unnoticed.
