Crypt of Runes is a Pathfinder adventure for four 15th-level mythic characters. This adventure continues the Revenge of the Runelords Adventure Path, a three-part campaign in which a group of adventurers fight against the evil plans of Runelord Xanderghul--the most powerful of all runelords. This adventure also includes articles about ancient cults and the terrors of the nightmare realm of Leng, powerful new magic items to aid heroes against their foes, and several sinister new monsters.
The Revenge of the Runelords Adventure Path is the fourth installment in the Runelords saga, following the Rise of the Runelords, Shattered Star, and Return of the Runelords Adventure Paths, providing a fitting capstone for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game's original campaign or run as a standalone campaign. Revenge of the Runelords uses the mythic character rules presented in Pathfinder War of Immortals and makes an excellent follow-up to the low-level mythic campaign presented in the Myth-Speaker Adventure Path.
Each full-color softcover Pathfinder Adventure Path volume contains an in-depth adventure scenario, stats for several new monsters, and support articles meant to give Game Masters additional material to expand their campaign. Pathfinder Adventure Path volumes use the Open RPG Creative License and work with the remastered Pathfinder Second Edition and compatible roleplaying games.
