Info autore

Weidong Xiang earned both his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, in 1996 and 1999, respectively. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow and research scientist at the Software Radio Laboratory (SRL) at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, USA, from 1999 to 2004. In 2004, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan–Dearborn (UMD) in Dearborn, MI, USA, where he is currently a professor. He established and led the Center for Vehicular Communications and Network Laboratory at UMD, focusing on dedicated short-range communications (DSRC), machine-type communications (MTC), and LTE for high mobility applications, as well as UWB positioning. His current research is supported by organizations such as NSF, DoE, GM, Ford, LGE, CISCO Research, and others. He has published over 100 technical papers in various international journals and conferences.
Ajay Singh obtained a B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kurukshetra University, India, in 2003. He received his M.E. degree in the same field from Punjab University in Chandigarh, India, in 2007, and went on to earn his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in New Delhi, India, in 2012. From May 2013 to January 2016, he served as a faculty member in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Raipur in Chhattisgarh, India. Following this, from January 2016 to March 2018, he was a faculty member in the same department at the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh, India, while on leave from the National Institute of Technology Raipur. Since March 2018, he has been an associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu in Jammu and Kashmir, India.
