At the dawn of the 21st century, scientific research is undergoing a major transformation thanks to the rise of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. This technological revolution is redefining traditional methodologies and opening up new prospects for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease, particularly in the medical field. The book examines how these innovations are facilitating access to vast volumes of data, improving research efficiency and fostering unprecedented collaboration between researchers on a global scale. Through an in-depth analysis of the work of Saleh and Hachour (2012) on the impact of digital tools on scientific communication and Couture and Haidar (2023) on the role of AI in medical processes, the benefits and ethical issues associated with these technologies are highlighted.
