"What Is That?" introduces children to Ashley, a little girl with Cerebral Palsy who uses many different things to live and play in the world around her. From a dark pink wheelchair that almost looks purple, to arm crutches and even a feeding tube, these tools help Ashley get around and stay healthy! When other children see Ashley in her wheelchair, using her crutches or feeding tube, they become curious, wondering, "what is that?" and instead of shying away from their questions, adults encourage the children to ask Ashley themselves.
This heartwarming story follows Ashley as she makes new friends and teaches them that even though she does things differently than her peers, she's just like them!
