In conclusion, the Editor begs to tender his sincere thanks to the owners of the above enumerated copies for so generously intrusting such valuable tracts to his care thus enabling him to have the present reprint made.
It remains to be added that as the present reprint approached completion a set of the three fasciculi was found to exist amongst the ornithological tracts forming part of the library of the late Hugh S. Strickland, recently presented to the University of Cambridge by his widow.
