A Constructional and Emergentist Approach to Change of BA in Chinese

This work provides an alternative approach to think about change and emergence of new expressions in use by conducting the case study of BA in Chinese. Traditional perspectives are challenged in the way of modifying the basic unit not only in language but also in language change. What accompanies this fundamental change includes a series of meansures which are employed for an in-depth research on similar topics.
