Unité est la première monographie exhaustive consacrée à l'oeuvre de Boris Achour (né en 1966) depuis ses origines au début des années 1990. Cet ouvrage s'inscrit dans le prolongement de sa collaboration avec Les Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers, où l'artiste a produit et montré l'oeuvre-exposition Jouer avec des choses mortes en 2003.
Coédité avec l'École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris et le Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain de Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, cet ouvrage documente de manière systématique le travail de l'artiste, et offre un point de vue élargi sur cette oeuvre protéiforme, grâce aux contributions des critiques d'art Guillaume Désanges, Chris Gilbert, François Piron et Émilie Renard.

Unity is the first exhaustive monography devoted to the work, starting in the early 1990s, of Boris Achour (born in 1966). This catalogue continues his association with the Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers where the artist produced and showed the work-exhibition Playing with Dead Things in 2003.
Published with the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris and the Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, this catalogue systematically documents the artist's work, providing a wider look on this protean work, thanks to the contributions of art critics Guillaume Désanges, Chris Gilbert, François Piron and Emilie Renard.
