This research focuses on rural schools in an environment with limited resources. The challenge was to identify which factors should be given priority in order to significantly improve school results. A questionnaire survey of teachers enabled us to draw up a detailed picture of the state of school education, and to put forward elements for analyzing the problem. Despite the desire to support school enrolment, the reality shows that there is a real crisis in teaching and education in rural areas in Madagascar. Many factors underlie this situation. These include, in particular, the lack of basic training for most teachers, and the inadequacy of in-service training where it exists.The teaching profession is complex (Belair, 2012). There are countless unpredictable parameters. Teaching is not just about possessing Knowledge-Knowledge, but above all requires experience and practice.
