A propos de l'auteur

M.B.Rajani is an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS),Bengaluru, India. Her primary scientific contribution is a rigorous methodology for integrating spatial data from remote sensing images together with historical records (including maps, drawings, and textual accounts) that document past landscapes and analysing them to generate new inferences and novel hypotheses about the past. Her book Patterns in Past Settlements: Geospatial Analysis of Imprints of Cultural Heritage on Landscapes (2021) aims at imparting this knowledge to larger research and academic communities
