All too soon, the first snowflakes will fall, and we will bid farewell to America's pastime for a season. We'll enter that dark period between the last out of the World Series and the first pitch of Spring Training. I invite you to join me on a pilgrimage. I hope to scratch the itch many of us feel when we can no longer switch on a baseball game or check out a box score. Accompany me as I reflect on an extraordinary journey in the autumn of 2022 to several baseball venues of the Northeast-including moments and monuments, memorabilia and memories. It was a journey of a lifetime that confirmed why baseball resonates deep within the souls of those who love the game. And, it was a reminder that when our desire is for the Lord, he is likely to manifest in surprising ways...
