A propos de l'auteur

Professor Chris Rodgers is a Professor Emeritus of Law at Newcastle University. Chris is an established and widely published author in the areas of property law and environmental law. He was Consulting Editor to Volume 1 (Agriculture) of the 4th and 5th editions of Halsbury’s Laws of England and was Editor in Chief of the Environmental Law Review (Sage Publishing) for 22 years until 2022. He has for many years been a regular contributor to the legal journals on property law and environmental law topics. He has also been Principal Investigator of several large interdisciplonary research projects funded by the UK Research Councils (now UKRI). These have focussed on the history, governance and contemporary use of common land in England and Wales. Chris also has extensive experience as a consultant solicitor specialising in agricultural property work.Dr Nerys Llewelyn Jones is the founder and current Managing Partner of Agri Advisor which was established on her home farm in Pumsaint, Carmarthenshire in 2011. Nerys is an experienced agricultural solicitor who also has first-hand knowledge of the farming industry.

She has a PhD in Sustainable Agriculture and its Implementation and Enforcement at an International, European and regional level. A fellow of the Agricultural Law Association, Nerys advises on all aspects of agricultural law and can offer holistic farm business planning.

She is an ADR Accredited Mediator and provides mediation services and business consultancy via Maes Consulting Ltd, is Chair of the Agricultural Advisory Panel for Wales and the Interim Environmental Protection Assessor for Wales.
