Résumé

Completely revised and updated, the Eighth Edition of The Codes Guidebook for Interiors is the only book on the market devoted exclusively to codes that are applicable to interior designers. This guide features jargon-free explanations of all the codes and standards that are relevant to designers and architects, including performance codes, building and finish standards, energy codes, and ADA standards. Dozens of examples are enhanced with detailed illustrations and floor plans that clearly show how codes apply to real-world projects. This Eighth Edition has been updated to include the 2018 and 2021 ICC code provisions, including the International Building Code and NFPA's 2021 Life code. In an easy-to-navigate format, this single source guide saves hours of research time and can dramatically reduce the potential for costly planning oversights.
