JungakademikerInnen unterschiedlicher Fachgebiete haben sich mit der Idee, den interdisziplinären sowie interkulturellen wissenschaftlichen Dialog zu fördern, ans Werk gemacht und setzen sich in ihren Beiträgen mit internationalen Fragen beziehungsweise regionalen Themen auseinander. Um den Dialog auch über Sprachgrenzen hinweg anzuregen, sind alle Beiträge mit je einem italienischen, deutschen und englischsprachigen Abstract versehen. Der deskriptive Anspruch dieses Sammelwerks besteht darin, verschiedene Teilaspekte des Phänomens einer multikulturellen Gesellschaft in Südtirol aufzuzeigen. Der konstruktive Anspruch dieses Werks fußt auf einem übergeordneten Ziel: dem Schaffen von Momenten der Begegnung, des intersubjektiven und interdisziplinären Dialogs und erfordert die theoretische Fundierung von praktischen Formen dialogischer Problemanalyse und -bewältigung.
Con l'idea di promuovere il dialogo interdisciplinare come anche quello scientifico interculturale neolaureati di diverse facoltà si sono dati da fare e trattano nelle loro opere questioni internazionali ossia temi regionali. Per promuovere il dialogo anche oltre le barriere linguistiche i contributi si presentano con abstract in lingua inglese, tedesca e italiana. La pretesa descrittiva di questa raccolta di temi sta nel esplicare diversi aspetti del fenomeno di una società multiculturale in Alto Adige. La pretesa costruttiva di questa opera si basa su di un fine superiore: il creare di momenti d'incontro, di un dialogo intersoggettivo e interdisciplinare e richiede una base teorica di forme pratiche di analisi e soluzione dialogica di problemi.
In an aim to promote an interdisciplinary and intercultural scientific dialog young graduates of diverse disciplines have tackled the task of intensive investigation into «cultures in dialogue» as it relates to issues of international as well as regional relevance. In an attempt to motivate dialogue across language barriers all contributions provide abstracts in the three languages: German, Italian and English. The descriptive part of the collected edition provides an overview of diverse aspects of the phenomenon of a multicultural society in South Tyrol. The constructive aspect of the volume pursues the following goal: it creates moments of encounter, of intersubjective as well as interdisciplinary dialogue and lays the basis for a theoretical foundation of practical forms of dialogic problem analysis and problem solving.

Annemarie Profanter absolvierte ihr erstes Doktoratsstudium in Erziehungswissenschaften, ihr zweites in Psychologie und erwarb einen Master in Psychology of Education an der University of London. Sie ist Professorin für Erziehungswissenschaften an der Fakultät für Bildungswissenschaft der Freien Universität Bozen und ist zahlreichen Rufen als Gastdozentin an Universitäten in Pakistan, Oman und Saudi Arabien gefolgt.
Annemarie Profanter ha conseguito la sua prima laurea in Scienze della Formazione e la seconda in Psicologia. Inoltre le è stato assegnato un master degree in Psychology of Education dall'Università di Londra. Essa è professoressa di Pedagogia generale e sociale presso la Facoltà di Scienze della Formazione della Libera Università di Bolzano e come docente ospite ha accettato gli inviti di diverse università in Pakistan, Oman e Arabia Saudita.
Annemarie Profanter holds doctorates in both Education and Psychology and a master's degree in Psychology of Education from the University of London. She is an associate professor of the Faculty of Education at the Free University of Bolzano and has done visiting lectureships at universities in Pakistan, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
