Informationen zum Autor EVA KOLINSKY is Professor of Modern German Studies at Keele University and Director of Keele's Centre for the Study of German Culture and Society. Since the unification of Germany, she extended her established research interest in the emergence of social citizenship and equal opportunities to include the processes of post-communist transformation with special reference to women, the family and minority cultures. Recent publications include: Women in Contemporary Germany; Women in 20th Century Germany; Between Hope and Fear: Everyday Life in Post-Unification East Germany (editor), and Turkish Culture in German Society Today (editor with D.Horrocks). She is co-editor of German Politics (Frank Cass) and of a series on Culture and Society in Germany.
