Description

Kate (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) e Charlie (Aaron Paul) sono una giovane coppia sposata, che condivide l`amore per la musica, per il divertimento e soprattutto per l`alcol. Quando Kate rischia di perdere il lavoro d`insegnante a causa del suo problema, decide di disintossicarsi con il sostegno del gruppo degli Alcolisti Anonimi, della sua nuova amica e sponsor Jenny (Octavia Spencer) e del vice preside della scuola, il goffo signor Davies. Ma restare sobria è più difficile di quanto Kate non immagini. Il suo nuovo stile di vita la porta a mettere in discussione il rapporto con la madre, con la sua datrice di lavoro (Megan Mullaly) e la natura stessa del suo legame con Charlie.
