About the author

Renowned educator and founder of numerous schools, Dr. Paul F. Cummins reinvented progressive education and has proven that given appropriate support, all children can succeed, regardless of their circumstances.Anna K. Cummins graduated from Crossroads School in Santa Monica in 1991, and Stanford University in 1996 with a B.A. in History. At Stanford, she studied with Dr. Estelle Friedman (Women’s Studies), Dr. Jody Maxmin (Art History) and Dr. Jack Rakove (American History). Also at Stanford, she was captain of the fencing team in 1994 and performed in chamber music concerts on the violin. She taught at New Roads School in Santa Monica
