About the author










Sarah Chan is Senior Research Fellow at the East Asia Institute, National University of Singapore, Singapore. She has previously worked as a senior economist at the Monetary Authority of Singapore and a consultant economist for the Asian Development Bank. She obtained her PhD in Economics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2014.
