About the author

Evan Jevnikar is a paleontologist focused on dinosaurs and a science communicator. He received his bachelor's degree in geology at the University of Kansas and his master's degree in biology at North Carolina State University. Evan's thesis research involved reconstructing the lifespan and growth rate of T. rex's cousin, Tarbosaurus. He has dug up a variety of dinosaurs in Montana, New Mexico, and Utah. He lives in North Carolina.
