About the author










Matias Harju is a Helsinki-based sound designer and musician specialising in immersive and interactive sonic storytelling. His creative practice centres on exploring audio augmented reality as a narrative art form, while he also works on virtual reality, video games, installations, and live performances. With a diverse background in music, audio, and education, he holds Master's degrees from Sibelius Academy and the Sound in New Media programme at Aalto University. Matias regularly lectures and leads workshops on spatial sound design and audio augmented reality.
