This research concentrates on a very critical and vital approach in the field of journalism, particularly media and journalistic ethics with particular emphasis on Palestinian media, including the challenges and reality. The subject of media ethics has been at the heart of modern news editing. Journalists across the world have to align themselves with social responsibility ethics. They need to inform their audience and motivate the public to like or appreciate their media work. Palestinian journalists and media personnel find it challenging to adhere to these norms or standards, particularly when making decisions on publishing journalistic newspapers and materials. Media ethics is considered essentialin the field of journalism and digital news and media. It is a set of values, regulations, andpractices implemented by journalists and media institutions to maintain the basicjournalism principles. The primary objective is to ensure journalists keep away frompersonal interests and benefit the entire community. In this academic research on ethicsin Palestinian media, lack of professional values or media ethics is very clear due topolitical instability.

Dr Ibrahim Assalia is well known journalist who worked for Palestine TV and satellite channel as News presenter and editor since 1998 till 2007. Dr Assalia served as the chairman of the black and minority housing (BME) forum at Newport council ,Wales, UK. Dr Assalia also worked as adviser for citizens advice bureau in Newport, wales, UK.
