The book Adolescent Oral Health tries to understand what motivates adolescents. This understanding is a very important step towards successful oral health education. The aim of this work is to find out what adolescents perceive their oral health to be and to investigate what they consider important and attractive in order to awaken, through education as a tool, self-empowerment in oral health. To understand the evaluation of the educational component of the collective procedures recommended as basic oral health actions by the State Oral Health Public Policy Guidelines and the management indicators for evaluating the oral health status of municipalities.

Greice de Brito Bitencourt is a PhD student in Rehabilitation Sciences at the Nove de Julho University, has a Master's degree in Collective Dentistry from USP-SP, specializes in Family Health and has a degree in Dentistry from USP-SP. She teaches at Uninove, is a scientific consultant and coach.
