First of its kind book on Denitrogenative Transformations helps researchers and scientists working in organic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, and transition metal catalysis, as well as academicians, industry professionals. It comprises of all the types of polynitrogen heterocycles that are studied to undergo denitrogenative transformation. The first chapter introduces denitrogenative Transformation, its historical aspects and present status. The following chapters use a reaction-based approach to explain denitrogenative transformations in detail.

About the author

Pazhamalai Anbarasan obtained his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, after which he moved to Germany as an Alexander-von-Humboldt foundation post-doctoral fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Catalysis (LIKAT). He spent another year at the University of California, Berkely, he returned to India in December 2011 to start his academic career at the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), where currently he is a professor. His research program is focused on the development of new synthetic strategies employing transition-metal catalysis with special focus on asymmetric synthesis and their implementation in organic synthesis.
