Every person who is immersed in a criminal proceeding needs to be tried within a reasonable period of time; however, at present it represents a challenge for our Courts of Justice, due to the existence of several factors of different dimensions that cause its contravention; therefore, we are honored to present this research whose purpose is to establish the objective and subjective factors that concur in the violation of the principle of reasonable time within the Criminal Courts, based on an analysis of our legal-procedural reality.
