About the author
Laura has a degree in ecology and wildlife conservation and has been teaching for over 10 years on specialist sessions for primary and secondary schools. She has worked with a variety of animals, which range from mischievous meerkats to curious crocodiles. Laura loves being outdoors and thoroughly enjoys her job as a field ecologist, looking for snakes, lizards and bats! Laura loves British wildlife and her favourite animal is a slow worm. Her aim is to spread the word of the amazing animals people can find right here in England. Laura's company (Discover Nature) recently won an award for Environmental Education Company of the Year - South England.
