This book brings together all the essential information on this major area of equine medicine. The emphasis is on accessibility, so the authors have employed extensive cross referencing techniques and included key reminders and points throughout. As well as this, and not found in any other equine medicine book, Essentials of Equine Internal Medicine focuses on evidence-based veterinary medicine, providing clear guidance on how to critically approach cases and record findings. To maintain the global appeal, the authors have included many exotic diseases in the infectious diseases section and have detailed useful information on worldwide surveillance for equine diseases.
