This book is about various factors which affect girls' education. Firstly it deals with the study of teaching-learning conditions of the girl children in the secondary stage of the Balasore District. Secondly to find the relation between a girl-child's academic achievement and family size in the secondary school of Balasore District. Third, to find the relation between girl-child's academic achievement and socioeconomic status in secondary School of Balasore District. The final verdict was very clear: Parents' socioeconomic condition affects the academic performance of girls. Similarly teaching-learning environment also affect girls education.
