In recent years, Market value of real estate capture has attracted increasing attention as a result of its potential for funding transport infrastructure. Location plays a key role in property choices and accessibility is one of the most important factors about location and housing development and transformation. The principal objective is to formulate a planning strategies proposal for controlling the development along the metro corridor. The major aim is to develop a comprehensive development plan for the entire study area instead of haphazard development. The study is a research on the transformation around three different metro station of different timeline on the different elements for housing development in Kolkata. The research is based on detailed analysis of existing physical and socio-economic structure 500 m both side along the metro corridor study area, and understanding of different type of transformation is happened along operational, under construction and proposed metro corridor and other facilities like infrastructure.
