The overall aim of this study was analyzing prevalence of gender based violence that are directed against persons with disabilities and consequences of common perpetrations among employed persons with disabilities whether they are educated or uneducated and students of higher educational commissions. Even both sexes can be victims of gender based violence; women are more vulnerable for such infringement of rights due to socially constructed gender role expectations. When femininity is accompanied by disability and poverty, one's being easy prey for gender based violations increase at tripled level of susceptibility. Women with disabilities share some forms of gender based violation which are also experienced by women with out disabilities. However, there are also unique gender based violations that are encountered only by women with disabilities. Therefore, aiming at identifying which gender is more vulnerable to gender based violence, to identify which forms of gender based violence is the most common among the respondents and its consequences, this investigation was conducted in Addis Ketema, Gulele and Yeka sub-cities.
