Susanne Wagner - frei / ortsbezogen

In an unusual retrospective, the artist Susanne Wagner, born 1977 in Munich, documents her sculptural work of the last five years. As a "turning book" with equivalent cover pages, the publication can be read from two sides. Thus, two independent series of works come together in an artist's book coequally. The book section titled "ortsbezogen" (site-specific) presents realized art projects, which have been commissioned previously. If the publication is turned 180 degrees, artistic projects are published under the title "frei" (free), which were developed as autonomous works and shown in different exhibition contexts.
