This is an introductory work on antennas, microwaves and transmission lines written in an easily comprehensible and logical manner to give the basic concepts and principles of antennas and transmission lines .It is useful for understanding the fundamentals of transmission lines, antennas and microwaves and their applications. To facilitate the understanding of the subject many concepts have been explained in depth. The work gives an insight about the various antennas and their radiation patterns. It is intended to provide a unified treatment of the theoretical and practical aspects of Antennas, Transmission lines and Microwaves. The antenna is a very important component of a communication system and without it no communication over long distances is possible. The theory applied for behavior and design of these antennas are based on Electromagnetic theory.
