About the author










Phil Bird has been the voice of Burnley FC for the last 18 years, providing passionate, informed commentaries on Clarets games for their in-house audio and TV platforms. He was behind the microphone for Burnley's promotions to the Premier League in 2009, 2014 and 2016. He also spent 11 years presenting and reporting on cricket for BBC Radio Lancashire. A Clarets fan since youth, he is also the author of The Guinness Cricket Quiz Book.
