D' inesperienza: e quel negare o dissimularemille fatti molti disjigurarne, ed altri finger ne a proposito e quell' accusare per fino di tirannia una legge santissima che chiamava nemico della patria chi.avesse arrecato no cumento alle pubbliche acque (i). Dalla qual legge non era minacciato colui che a vesse suggerito di rimenare i fiumi in laguna; che anzi ove questo suggerimento si fosse pro vato proficuo alla sua conservazione per la ragion del contrario veniva egli ad esserne riconosciuto benemerente.
