The coronary artery disease is a leading cause of death all over the world. The primary cause of coronary artery disease is the arthrosclerosis. There are various causes of stenosis formation that are primarily linked to food habits. There has been continuously growing interest to understand the blood flow behaviour in Atherosclerosis condition due to its serious impact on human life. It is believed that hemodynamic plays an important role in further progression of coronary artery diseases. Thus it requires an in-depth analysis and understanding of blood flow behaviour in the coronary arteries. The emergence of new techniques has helped this task to great extent. Computational fluid dynamics is one such technique that has proven to be worth applying to study the blood flow behaviour. This work is primarily aimed at understanding the hemodynamic under various kinds of stenotic conditions. This is an attempt to present the investigation of blood flow behaviour in an ideal as well as patient specific artery suffering from different shapes and sizes of stenosis.
