Lioubov Andréevna, regarde le jardin par la fenêtre.

Oh, mon enfance, ma pureté ! Je dormais dans cette chambre d'enfants, d'ici je voyais le jardin, le bonheur se réveillait avec moi tous les matins, et le jardin était comme il est là, rien n'a changé... Si je pouvais enlever ce poids de ma poitrine, de mes épaules, si je pouvais oublier mon passé !
