Tra tutte le storie, i miti, le leggende che si narrano sulla città meneghina, quelle che meno hanno lasciato il segno riguardano i fantasmi. Possibile che a Milano non dimorino i fantasmi? Sembrerebbe una contraddizione, considerati gli antichi natali della città e le sue spesso cruente vicissitudini. Di fatto non incontrerete molti milanesi ben disposti a parlare di paranormale: troppo pratici e poco inclini a divagazioni nebulose. Eppure, di fantasmi in città si mormora, quel poco che basta per recuperare traccia e memoria di tutti quelli che popolano - e hanno popolato - il passato e il presente di Milano. Visiteremo gli antichi palazzi, i monumenti, vie note, meno note e assolutamente anonime, parchi, teatri e cinema. Infine passeggeremo sotto la città, portando a galla antichi cimiteri estinti, dimore che non esistono più, i cui spettri pare aleggino ancora nell'aria.
