Le poche faune provinciali e regionali in fatto di Nottue, tutte molto scarse, ove se ne eccettui 1' ottimo Elenco del ghiliani.-la regione più ricca di generi e specie, è certamente l' alpina elevata e intermedia, per cui la Zona setten trionale, apparisce nel presente Catalogo, assai pm ricca di specie delle altre. Quanto alle altre Zone, diligenti raccoglitori potranno sicuramente rinvenirvene molte non ancora notate, e fors' anche più diuna Specie e varietà nuove per la fauna d' Europa.
