Sent on a dangerous mission by a mysterious old shaman in a mirror, the twins plunge back to the 5th century, determined to retrieve a now extinct healing plant. They must depend on their courage, their faith in their friends, and luck... or is it destiny? If they succeed, they could change the history of the world. If they fail, they could be trapped in the past forever.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Diane Solomon enjoyed a wonderfully diverse career path that included her own variety show on BBC TV in England and major tours with Glen Campbell and Kenny Rogers. Her highly successful singing career has given way to her lifelong dream of being a writer.
This is the first novel written with her husband, Mark Carey, a retired biologist, naturalist, and accomplished voice-over artist.
They live in New Hampshire, on acres of woods and streams, where they spend many hours designing gardens and meadows, and watching wildlife.

About the author

Diane began her career in the UK as a singer and songwriter on BBC TV. Then, after 15 years of traveling the world as an entertainer, the dreaded Chronic Fatigue Syndrome destroyed her career. She struggled for almost eight years, years of wading through half a life, finally regaining her health with the help of a homeopathic remedy. This launched Diane into new studies and a second career: homeopath and nutritionist which she practiced for twenty years, using a combination of nutrients, herbs, homeopathic remedies, and diet and lifestyle recommendations. Now retired from practice and focused on writing, Diane lives in beautiful New Hampshire with her husband, Mark. Sometimes called a "Renaissance Woman," she writes, edits, researches, designs and builds gardens, always seeking more knowledge, more understanding, and more creative flow.Diane has written and published seven books. In non-fiction, she is releasing a series of non-fiction health eBooks, which so far include Healing Therapies that Work: The Natural Treatment of Allergies and Healing Therapies that Work: The Natural Treatment of Ear infections. Also non-fiction, she wrote Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A Guide to the Homeopathic Treatment of CFS/ME, hoping to be able to help others afflicted with this dreadful disease. It quickly became the best-selling book in the homeopathy section in November, 2015.In fiction, Diane recently wrote the fantasy time-travel Ravenstone series, written with her husband Mark Carey. For middle schoolers, these are The Ravenstone: The Secret of Ninham Mountain and The Ravenstone: The Twain. In the women's fiction genre, she wrote 88 Guys for Coffee, a humorous women's novel about online dating. And most recently, she completed Eva, due out July 15, 2023, a love story with a supernatural twist.More books are in the works!
