This fourth volume deals with the Russian Orthodox Church during the 20th Century, from the ascension of Tsar Nicholas II in 1894, to Premier Mikhail Gorbachov's Edict of Freedom of Conscience in 1990.

Daniel H. Shubin has been a Bible student and teacher for over fifty years in southern California. He has written a four-volume History of Russian Christianity, several volumes on Russian history, religion, biography, and philosophy, and a book on Christian pacifism.
