This book is an excellent resource to students, educators, and polymer scientists. Starting with the formation of polymer through the meaning and applications of polymer composites, the author shows the detailed progression of researches in polymer composite technology. The reader is taken on a journey through the world of polymer composite. The author reviewed an in-depth analysis of various aspects of polymer composites. Materials research and development have been on the search for materials that will meet service requirements under different conditions of application. The processing of polymer matrix composite does not require high pressure and high temperature. For these reasons polymer matrix composites are developing rapidly and soon becoming popular for structural applications. The book therefore tend to dwell on new class of natural filler based polymer composites with different filler loadings and to analyse their mechanical behaviour by experimentation.
About the author
UCHE, CHIDIEBERE is currently a Ph.D (Polymer Science)candidate in the Federal University of Technology Owerri.He obtained his first degree in 2006 from the Federal University of Technology Owerri; M.Sc Polymer Science in 2014 from the same school. He is a member of Polymer Institute of Nigeria (PIN)and Material Society of Nigeria (MSN).
