This is the Copy of the Irish version of the Britannia of N ennius, which has been made the basis of the text of the following work, and is denoted by D. In the notes. Its errors, however, have been corrected, as far as the Editor was able to correct them, by collation with the other mss. To which he had access; and such interpola tions as occurred in the other mss., when judged of any value, have been inserted in their proper places. All these deviations from the text of D. Have been mentioned in the notes.
